Sisk + Mere are the driving force behind Wing Beat Frequency. This DJ/VJ combo presents a full on audio and visual experience of the highest calibre. They combine building and driving sounds of Progressive and Tech-Trance with visuals that include original flash, poetry and modern artscapes. This year they are excited to present a full blown visual and auditory experience telling a story. Come and experience “Across the Tracks”.
Mere, with a back ground in dance and choreography incorporating digital graphic projections, has performed all through Saskatchewan as well as Toronto, California and Finland. She integrated her graphic design, illustration and animation to coincide with contemporary dance into an intense and highly structured performance. Intrigued by the possibilities of mixing her work live, she joined forces with Sisk to move her skills as an artist in a new direction. She has worked with Saskatchewan's Party production crews such as Good Life, Jaw Breaker, Paradise, and Deep Productions. She is stoked to be helping make the magic happen at Connect for her tenth year.
