DJ Leanne the “GirlOnWax” likes her basslines thick… Since the early nineties she’s been a solid contributor to Canada’s thriving electronic music community, sharing her infectious brand of booty-shakin’ house music to the masses!
She has performed DJ sets across Canada, US, Mexico and Europe, playing alongside worldwide talents such as Deep Dish, Lil’ Louie Vega, Ian Pooley and many more.
To her acclaim, Leanne has won “Best DJ” awards every year from 2001-2005 from the combined sources of The Georgia Straight and Club Vibes. Moreover, Leanne is also a professional DJ instructor at her school “The Rhythm Institute” in Vancouver, BC.
She is excited to offer her many talents to both the main stage and @ dj instruction seminars @ this years Connect.
